Costs
Varies by team but you can expect costs to be between $600-$800 which includes everything outside of your travel and hotels for tournaments.
When
Tryouts happen in the fall leading up to the next season. Most teams will start indoor training in January of the playing year. Season ends Labour Day weekend.
Practices
Teams are given 2 practice times per week starting mid-April until their season ends.
Games
Team play against opponents in Windsor-Essex and Kent County and number of games varies by team but on average a team will play 40-50 games per year which includes tournament games.

Do I have to be from Leamington to be eligible to play on a Lakers team?
No, that is no longer required. Players from any centre can decide to tryout for any Lakers team.
